RolliPolli

He finally rolled over while we were watching! And of course he didn't just roll over - nope, he went ahead and rolled back onto his back while he was at it. Crazy little man. He is growing up way too fast!

Emily's Last Day of Preschool

Today was Emily's last day of preschool in Alabama. =( Being a military brat, she has a lot of goodbyes ahead of her, so I wanted to try and make this first big one a positive experience. We took Team Umizoomi cupcakes and ice cream for her class.

Needless to say, there were a lot of little blue and pink faced kids running around...

Her teachers made her an adorable picture frame with a picture of the three of them, which is promptly going up on her wall.

After all that sugar and some playtime with her friends, I took Emily to get her first Big Girl Pedicure. She chose orange and I chose blue, so together we have some serious Tiger Pride.

In unrelated news, Sean continues to insist on dangling out of his crib or rolling over and getting so mad he wakes up. Poor little cutie pie.

What Blog??

This was Sean's reaction when I told him I had set up a blog before he was born to update regularly:

As you can tell, he had never heard about it before. (Nor had anyone else...)
It's hard to believe my little man is almost 5 months old. So far, there have been five times when we have gone to get him from his nap and he has rolled over, but he refuses to do it when we are watching. He has also been enjoying cereal occasionally, and eats with the zest you would expect from a very chubby little guy.

As of his last check up (about two weeks ago) he was 16 pounds and 26.5 inches long. =D

Emily is enjoying her last week of preschool. She will be stuck back at home with mommy starting next week, and I hope I can help her learn as well as her fabulous teachers do. She has become Master of the Potty, and we are so happy. It was definitely an uphill battle...

As of her last checkup (also about two weeks ago, they went together) she is 34 inches tall, which put her in the 97th percentile. =D

She is a great little helper, and loves to work in the kitchen. I am sure that it is extra appealing since she doesn't have to share mommy with Sean when we are there.

Now if I could just get her to learn how to fold laundry correctly...
